Peter Brown has over 25 years of experience in planning, designing, permitting, financing, and constructing public works infrastructure projects throughout California. Before joining OCSD, he was the Public Works Director for the City of Belmont and previously served as Public Works Director and Sanitary District Manager in Corte Madera, CA. He has a passion for sustainability, prudent use of rate-payer resources, and well-functioning solid waste, water, and wastewater systems. Peter holds an Associate of Science Degree from Santa Rosa Junior College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from Chico State University, and dual Master's Degrees from UCLA (Latin American Geography and Urban Planning).
